The famous Star Plus series Anupamaa will no longer include Sudhanshu Pandey’s passionate depiction of Vanraj Shah, as the actor has formally announced his departure from the series. This is a huge move for the program.

The producers have reportedly sought actor Pankit Thakker to take on the part of Shah, according to reports from Times Now and Telly Talk India. After doing a screen test for the role, Thakker is reportedly one of the top candidates for the role because the producers were quite delighted with his performance.
This news follows Pandey’s statement on Thursday, which he made via an Instagram video in which he thanked everyone for their love and support during his time as Vanraj. “I want to inform all of you that I am no longer associated with the Anupamaa show,” Pandey said in an emotional letter. He also assured his followers that he will continue to provide them with entertainment in upcoming endeavours. There are rumours that his exit may have been impacted by a falling out with the producer of the show.
Since its premiere, Rajan and Deepa Shahi’s film Anupamaa, which is distributed by Director’s Kut Productions, has dominated the TRP charts. Rupali Ganguly, Madalsa Sharma, and Gaurav Khanna play important parts in the series. The departure of Sudhanshu Pandey comes after the exits of two other renowned actors, Aneri Vajani (Malvika) and Paras Kalnawat (Samar), who both departed to pursue other professional chances.
