The surprise departure of Sudhanshu Pandey from the hit television series Anupamaa has generated a lot of buzz in the entertainment world. Pandey, who played Vanraj Shah, has been a major player in the plot ever since the show’s launch. In a recent interview, Paras Kalnawat—who quit Anupamaa to take part in a reality show—spoke about Pandey’s exit and other topics.
Speaking positively about Sudhanshu Pandey, Paras Kalnawat addressed the controversy surrounding his sudden departure from Anupamaa in an interview with TellyChakkar. “Dekhiye unke exit pe mujhe dukh nahi hua,” said Paras. Kyuki deserves a lot more. In my opinion, he is an amazing person; he is not just an artist or an insaan, but he also deserves to succeed in life. Messages pe meri unse iss baare mey baat hui hai. Paras continued by saying that while working on the Anupamaa sets, he and Sudhanshu Pandey had a close relationship. He added that during his tenure on the show, he never had any problems with the direction or production crew.
When Paras Kalnawat thought back on his personal experiences, he said he had learnt to stay out of issues that did not directly affect him. He acknowledged that he had lacked self-control in the past, which frequently resulted in needless drama.
When Paras secured a deal for Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 on a rival channel, he became entangled in a major scandal of his own. His instant termination resulted from the producers of Anupamaa not being happy with this move. When Rajan Shahi, the show’s producer and someone Paras looked up to, made an official announcement about his departure, things got really heated. With this public declaration, Paras publicly stated his displeasure and admitted to having a disagreement with Rupali Ganguly, the lead actress in Anupamaa.
Almost eighty percent of the show’s cast wanted to quit but felt they couldn’t, according to one of Paras’ sharper comments. The character of Samar Shah, which Paras had previously played, was cast for the actor Sagar Parekh after his departure. Despite the fact that Sagar’s portrayal was first met with resistance from viewers, the character was ultimately written off the show.
As word of Sudhanshu Pandey’s departure began to circulate, speculation mounted that actor Pankit Thakker, of Dill Mill Gayye, might take over. According to certain media sources, Thakker even took part in practice shots and appearance tests for the job. But Pankit Thakker refuted these rumours in a discussion, saying, “Hey, just to be clear, I won’t be joining the cast of Anupamaa.” Thank you for your understanding.
